Showers about the western, central and southern districts and the Bass Straight Islands, extending to remaining districts for a period during the day, although little reaching the east coast. Snow falling to 700 metres about the west and south in the morning, rising to 900 metres by evening. Fresh westerly winds, shifting southwesterly during the day.
