FUEL REDUCTION BURN - NUNAMARA

A fuel reduction burn was conducted at Nunamara on the 19th November 2017 as part of the state-wide Fuel Reduction Program which is aimed at reducing the bushfire risk to help protect lives and communities.

This burn was approximately 847 hectares in size. There are some very small areas still generating smoke.
People with medical conditions are advised to have a personal plan for avoiding smoke from the burn. Advice is available from the Department of Health and Human Services website www.dhhs.tas.gov.au/peh/alerts/air/precautions or www.asthmatas.org.au
